Driving toward the dead sea

Leaving Jerusalem today, driving toward the dead sea. Will be a relaxing afternoon in the salt lake.

Driving toward the Dead Sea

First stop was Qumran, which is best known as the place where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered not so long ago. Located on the northwestern shore of the Dead Sea in the Judean Desert approximately.

Moving on to Ein Gedi and the Waterfalls of David and the old synagogue.

At old synagoge in Ein Gedi. Outside.

Moving on to Ein Bokek and the Dead Sea, where we’ll stay for the night.

Walking in Ein Bokek toward our hotel.

Some change of plans tomorrow. Due to bad weather forecast, we are not advised to walk up to Masada. So we will take the motorized way up and walk a shorter walk down.
