Today we have been in Osnabrück, Warendorf and Melle. Nice cities all of them. Warendorf was the one I liked the most. Horses seems to be a big thing. Melle
Started in Wolfsburg and the VW museum. Lunch south of Hannover at Alte Hahnenburg. Then over to Minden to see the Mittellandkanal aqueduct over the Weser river. Staying in Melle for a few nights. Map
Magdeburg
Started in Hamburg this morning, driving east along the Elbe river. We didn’t see much of the river as the road was quite far from the river. Hamburg
Today we will drive to Hamburg, and stay at a hotel along die Elbe. Ferguson Museum Lunch at Juelsminde Driving to our hotel south of Hamburg. Dinner at hotel. Wiener schnitzel. Lots of driving today. Nice car (the merc…)! 🙂 Map
Leaving for Germany
Going on a week long vacation to Germany. Slow vacation on the countryside. Raining here today so great to get away. Lunch and dessert, Kristiansand Onboard the ferry to Denmark.
Going back home
Early morning…. Was at the airport 2:00am…. 20 mins later security, baggage drop and passport control done. 2 hours to boarding. Leaving 5:15am… Not much sleep…
Last day
So this is the last day. Leaving early tomorrow morning…, Time for breakfast soon. Then we will go for a walk. Meet up with the rest at the Carmel market later. Checked in and did a rough packing of my suitcase.
Volunteering
Volunteering this morning. Archeological dig later. After the hopefully beautiful sunset, a walk to Jaffa along the beach. Fun volunteering for Leket Israel. Packing cucumbers and removing bad leaves from cabbages. Archeological dig was fun as well. A bit dusty, though. One found some pottery with greek letters on it. Eilat area
Hanging around in Eilat today… Also hiking for an hour. Actually we stay some 6km south of Eilat. Only 4km from the Egypt border. Nice day. Underwater Observatory – Dolphin Reef – Red Canyon
